Francisco Lindor Touches Down In L.A. As Mets’ California Meeting W/ Juan Soto Looms

Francisco Lindor has arrived in Los Angeles … and given Mets boss Steve Cohen is slated to fulfill with Juan Soto in Southern California this week — it certain seems the NY shortstop is now on the town to assist recruit the star free agent.

The 30-year-old NL MVP finalist flew in to LAX on Sunday night … only a few days after a number of reviews said Cohen, Soto and Soto’s tremendous agent, Scott Boras, would sit down within the L.A.-area to speak a few potential future with the Mets.

Lindor was mum with a photographer on the airport on whether or not or not he can be part of this week’s efforts to get Soto within the Blue and Orange … however he did say he wished “nothing but the best” for the outfielder.

“I hope he makes the best decision for himself and his family,” Lindor added.

If there’s any present MLBer who may have some pull in Soto’s course of … it will seem like Lindor — as, in spite of everything, he is nice pals with the previous Yankees slugger.

There’s, after all, going to be a ton of different suitors for Soto … reportedly, the Dodgers, Crimson Sox, Blue Jays and Giants all need him — and the Yanks have made it clear they’d like to have him again too.
